" Hey Katharina,we so enjoyed your movie!!!! I was so glad we could still see it, we had to leave right after and book it to the airport to get back, had to miss the closing night:((( You can't believe how great this community is! I have not ever met so many nice people in one place. And your film was perfect, such great hope especially after people watched Peace Out and said, what can we do? your film said THIS IS WHAT YOU CAN DO!! Start in your community and built that up with love. Very inspirational. Thank you! The people of Haida Gwaii are struggling very much with the issues of getting back to a self sufficient and sustainable life, one Native told us that once they got a grocery store that introduced their biggest problem. People do not hunt and grow their own food anymore and they have a huge problem with what he called "sugar diabetes". ......
